The children loved hearing this story, with many of them knowing the story already. We talked about people we loved and why. We also discussed the difference between hares and rabbits. We have been introducing the children to PE in the hall, this week we had the apparatus out and had different rabbit related sections. The children loved the apparatus and we saw a lot of confidence developing throughout the session. We had children who were reluctant to let go of a grown ups hand when balancing on a bench to not needing to hold on to anyone’s hands and moving in different ways across the bench. Well done everyone, a super lesson.
In maths we spent a lot of time sorting different items from different shapes to different types of leaves. The children were great at explaining their differences.
Elm children have started going into Elm for a few sessions, slowly and gently introducing the room. When it was time to rejoin us, they already looked older and wiser.
Another great week, please remember your child’s book bag as some children get really upset when the can’t change their books.
