St Joseph’s is fortunate to be surrounded by some fantastic grounds. Over the past few years we have been able to use the grounds to support different Eco projects. The children have designed an Eco garden complete with homes for bees and insects to take shelter in over the winter and recently The Rotary Club supported us to build an eco-greenhouse made up of hundreds of plastic bottles! Well done to Beech Class for putting so much into this project from start to finish, and to all the families from school and the wider community who donated the bottles.
We have a beautiful meadow here at St Joseph's which includes a pond. This is currently undergoing much-needed renovation and has been drained while we fundraise for a new liner and better fencing. When it's complete it will be an important part of our eco-system and provide exciting learning opportunities for all the children.
