Owl Babies

The children have been very busy this week practising for the Harvest Festival.  As well as learning all the songs we have been adding actions, so hopefully you have heard and seen the children practising at home.

This week we read the book Owl Babies, all the children had different responses as to why their mummy wasn’t there when the babies woke up.  As well as good reasons the children were also very articulate explaining their thoughts.

The children are getting used to going down to Holly class at the end of the day.  For children who were here last year, they are enjoying seeing their older friends.  For our new friends they are enjoying getting to know Mrs Wilford and Mrs Park.

Our new friends experienced PE in the hall this week, they liked the space and the enormous whiteboard and showed us how flexible they were during our yoga session.

We hope your scarecrows are coming along, we are looking forward to seeing them this week, remember Monday is the last day to send them in.
