The Three Little Pigs.
Elm children read another classic fairy tale this week- The Three Little Pigs, all the children knew this story and loved joining in with the big bad wolf. There was a lot of discussion about the endings as some stories have the the three pigs running away, others have the wolf fall into a pot of water.
In phonics the children focussed on v, w and y. They played the game 'what sound does a ----- make.' The children naturally enjoyed p-i-g, d-o-g and sh-ee-p.
