This week we have been sharing the story, The Snail and the Whale by Julia Donaldson. We thought about whales, their habitat and enjoyed retelling the story using the small world tuff tray and the puppet theatre. We have had lots of fun in the water table, using natural resources that we would find at the seaside. We recreated snail trails by writing our names in silver paint and adding glitter.
We have had a great time in forest school and toasted marshmellows on a camp fire.
