It was really lovely chatting to you all during parents evenings this week. Thank you all for coming and for all of your continued support.
It’s been another busy week in Holly Class full of learning and fun. Children were very respectful during the two minutes silence for Remembrance Day and lots of children chose to create some gorgeous poppy artwork using paints.
There was much excitement with the introduction of the Beebots! Children have enjoyed trying to programme them to move around the classroom. Next week we may even try to build a maze for them to travel around.
In phonics, we have learnt the new sounds w, y, x and j. The new phonics cards will be sent home on Monday, along with their home learning, so please can all bookbags be brought into school.
In maths we have been exploring circles and triangles and played games trying to sort and identify them by feeling and describing their properties.
Children will find out their parts for the nativity next week and rehearsals will commence! Very exciting indeed!
Have a great (and hopefully dryer) weekend! ☺️
