Following in the footsteps of Jesus, together we love live and learn.

15th September 2025

Maple and Elm’s weekly round up.

Well, that’s another busy week with lots of new friends settling in.

Our ‘experienced’ children are a real credit, they have all welcomed our new friends, played with them, showed them where to wash their hands, how to put our hands in a prayer position-it’s so lovely to see their natural kindness to others.

We’ve had a lot of superheroes this week, saving teddies from under the tent, mending our tables with hammers, screw drivers and pliers and lots of very important dressing skills taking place.  We have seen outfits folded to be put away, sleeves and legs pulled from being inside out and most importantly, putting our shoes back on so we don’t hurt our feet if we tread on a toy!

In between the rain fall we have been onto the big playground and had out bikes, scooters and cars and have met up with Holly class in the front outdoor classroom.

Message for parents: can you please name your child’s drinks bottle, we try to familiarise ourselves with all of them, but occasionally we are ‘stumped’ who they belong too!  Thank you.
