Primary School

Following in the footsteps of Jesus, together we love live and learn.

W/B 27th November 2023

This week we have been reading Man on the Moon by Simon Bartram. We had lots of fun using a telescope and seeing far away things. We thought about the difference between the moon and the Earth and how lovely our world is. We have been making sponge print paintings of the moon and Earth.

Frosty forest school. We had a lovely time in forest school. We looked at the frozen pond and thought about why it gets frosty in winter. We collected some frosty leaves to see what happened to them when we left them in warm over lunch.

In RE, we acted out a baptism and thought about all the things needed such as the font, holy water, candles, shell etc.

We talked about advent and together changed our prayer table cloth to purple as this is a very special time of year.
