This week we have been reading the book The Colour Monster by Anna Llenas. This is a lovely story that helps to explain emotions and feels and assigning them colours. Using this theme of colours and monsters, we have engaged the children in mark making and number games to make their learning fun. We been colouring, painting and different craft resources to make our own colour monsters pictures. The children have shown great cutting and sticking skills.
We visited the school library and spoke about what we would see and do in a library before explaining that we would come to the library for some of our story times, before have a look around at all the books there.
