We have been reading the story by Julia Donaldson called Day Monkey, Night Monkey. We have looking about the differences between nocturnal and diurnal animals and thought about our daily routines. We have been creative, painting pictures of night and day scenes and extended our learning into paint mixing to see what happens when we add either black or white to the colours.
In forest school, Holly and Elm enjoyed looking for bugs and making mud pictures.
