Welcome back!

What a busy week we have had in Maple and Elm Class.  As well as welcoming back children from last year, we have also said a big hello to lots of new friends who have joined us, too.  
 

Our returning children bounced through the door with big smiles, immediately embracing each other and engaging in activities instantly.  It was a lovely sight to see and to receive so many cuddles.

Over the week we have welcomed lots of new Elm and Maple children (and their parents) too.  Our returning children have been very welcoming and helpful, showing our new friends around, playing with them and making them feel part of the group.  Our new friends have settled very quickly, investigating the rooms and enjoying the activities and resources available.

We’ve managed to avoid the rain and go outside most days using the large playground to play group games and run around and the outdoor classroom to meet up with our old friends - Holly class.
