Maple and Elm’s weekly round up.

Welcome to another Early Years Hub Weekly Roundup!  
 

It was the first week back for Elm Class at Forest School and it didn't disappoint.  The children had a great time up in the forest with Mr Williamson and loved exploring once again.  It sounds like there was plenty of mud for mud-pie 

Elm have continued with more Meerkat Mail antics and have also been learning about the sound 'r' in their phonics.  Thank you for your continuing support with your child's sound bag - this really does help them to make those connections with hearing the initial sound in words, which is a really important stepping stone towards learning to read and write.  
 

Maple have been busy on a little secret project this week....shhh... all will be revealed very soon..... !  
 

We are going to host an Early Years Easter Bonnet Parade in school on Tuesday 24th March at 2:30pm.  
Parents and carers will be very welcome to attend.  This event will link to the Big Lent Walk fundraising event - more information will follow very soon.
