VOLUNTEERING AT ST JOSEPH'S
We welcome parents/carers and parishioners to volunteer at St Joseph's to support our pupils. Volunteering at school is a rewarding experience and benefits the whole school community.
People choose to volunteer for a variety of reasons.
- For some it offers opportunities to give something back to the community.
- For others it may provide an opportunity to develop new skills.
Classroom assistant volunteers may help with any of the following:
- Listening to children read
- Telling the children stories or reading to them
- Supporting individual pupils
- Supporting groups of children
For the safety of all children, regular volunteer helpers will be subject to a DBS check.
