W/C: 16th March

Holly Class have zoomed over to Africa with their new book of the week, Handa’s Surprise.  They enjoyed tasting some of the tropical fruits from the story (mango, papaya, melon and grapefruit) and were very honest in their opinions as to whether or not they liked them!  In maths, they have been learning about making 10 using the Numicon, which has really helped to their understanding of adding two amounts together in general.  In R.E., we started learning about Holy Week and children have listened to and acted out two stories from the Bible; Palm Sunday and The Last Supper.  Holly Class also attended their first class mass on Friday morning and were beautifully behaved throughout.
