We have been learning about the importance of Advent and have made special cards to remind us to prepare with hope, peace, joy and love.
Year 4 have been examining their teeth. We have learned about different types of teeth and their functions. We also know what types of teeth carnivores need and what types of teeth herbivores need!
Year 4 really enjoyed learning about the Rosary and what the different beads represent.
Our topic for this term is 'I Am Warrior' and it is all about the Romans.
We went to watch the Horrible Histories film Rotten Romans and then designed and made our own shiny Roman coins!
For Local Area Week, we did lots of map work and research. We also painted beautiful pictures of the Malvern Hills, paying attention to colour and detail.
In our RE lessons, we have been learning all about Jesus' Jewish upbringing. We found out that he went to a Jewish Temple, prayed using the words of the 'Shema' and asked the Jewish teachers questions to further develop and understand his faith. We enjoyed looking at some different Jewish artefacts and comparing them to ones used by Christians in Church.
Year 4 have started their reading journey! As they read more regularly and develop their reading skills, their butterfly or dragon fly will spread their wings and fly further along the reading vine...
