Ash

Welcome to Ash Class - Years 3/4

Welcome to the new School Year! I hope you have all had a lovely summer break. Please check out the curriculum newsletter to find out what we will be learning this term.

In the first few days back in class, we made these wonderful kites - painting them with patterns and colours that make us feel happy and writing about all the good things we enjoy, on the kite bows!

In the last 2 weeks of term we have been studying acrostic poetry and used this to write some on a Christmas theme. I think Poppy has captured the season superbly!

Local History Week

We had great fun this week learning all about the Battle of Worcester and how it was the final battle of the English Civil War.  We found out that the King's supporters were called Roundheads and Parliament's supporters were called Cavaliers. Look at the fantastic  helmets and hats we made - can you guess which ones are which??
